Salty Safety Update

It’s been a back flip fun summer so far at Salty Dog Daycare and Grooming we’ve had plenty of pool time, heat wave movie days and of course Puppy Camp! Our first session was a hit with all the littles. We will keep you posted with any more extra summer fun coming your way!

With all of this activity and the rolling schedules of the season, we wanted to send out a safety reminder for all of our best doggie families. Your dogs and our handlers’ safety is the number one priority at Salty Dog Daycare. We keep track of food, poop, paws and fingers ~ that’s alot of action! Keeping fingers in mind, we would like to ask that all dogs be dropped off with the proper collars on. Cloth collars and harnesses are safe for both the handler and the dog in a daycare setting. Metal and Electric training collars of any kind need to be removed before dropping your pet off. Metal collars can attach to fingers, fences and other dogs mouths. This is a potential hazard for everybody, removing them prior to coming to daycare prevents hectic handoffs from excitement.
